Biography

Cheri Burda

Former Research Assistant

Cheri Burda joined the Eco-Research Chair as a forest policy researcher in 1995 as a graduate student specializing in community forestry and tenure issues. She is the principal author of, among other articles, "Alternative Models of Forest Tenure in British Columbia" (1997). An activist-academic, Cheri coordinates both a forest policy reform movement in BC and an international community forestry network.
