Biography
Noah Quastel
Former Graduate StudentNoah's research work concerns law and sustainable economies. His Master of Laws degree concerned the links between unsustainable consumption and concepts of marketplace exchange by comparing traditional economic law such as contracts and sale of goods, and alternative economic practices, such as fair trade goods. He is interested in tracing interconnections between political ecology, ecological economics and law and policy. Noah's past legal work has included clerking at the British Columbia Supreme Court, working as a trial lawyer in Vancouver, and as a legal advisor to a human rights organization in Guatemala.
